Bushfires in Pomonal

On Tuesday February 13th devastating bushfires caused terrible destruction in the small community of Pomonal.  Although media reported on Tuesday that the historic Pomonal Church was destroyed in the blaze, these reports proved to be inaccurate and we are pleased to reassure everyone that the church still stands.  The Pomonal Church family will be meeting in Stawell on Sunday morning to give thanks for there being no loss of life, but to also pray for all those people who have lost so much.  If any one would like to help out a Gofundme page has been set up by a well respected community resident.  If you would like to donate, the webpage is https://www.gofundme.com/f/pomonal-bushfire-recovery
